I have always been an avid learner and Beautiful Localhands gave me the opportunity to learn a new trade and bring out my hidden talent.
Eswanteebye, who is also known as Kanta, is and always has been an avid learner. That is why she did not hesitate to take up the offer to join the new Beautiful Localhands pottery workshop in 2008. There, she quickly absorbed the pottery techniques she was taught and has now become an essential part of the workshop’s production chain.
Kanta is passionate about her trade; she loves the beauty and technicality of her craft and spends her time working on clients’ orders at the workshop.
Beautiful Localhands has given her the opportunity to learn new business skills, develop her creativity, discover a new passion and earn a decent income.
Alongside four other women with similar interests, Kanta creates products such as pots, plates, bowls and decorative items which are distributed through hotels, souvenir shops or as corporate gifts.
