Nicole comes from a family that has been into dressmaking for generations, and their sewing practices have been passed down from mother to daughter. Nicole knew that she was also meant to follow in the footsteps of her forebears. She started sewing at the age of 10 and her first job was in a sewing factory. She always wanted to make a stable career out of her passion, but never had faith in her skills or enough confidence to launch her own business. With the help of Beautiful Localhands, she was able to further develop her sewing skills, learn how to become independent and improve her self-confidence. She is now leading a small effective team of dressmakers at La Gaulette and they receive regular orders from clients from all over the island.

Nicole is very diligent when it comes to her work; she always puts client satisfaction and delivering quality products as a priority. She manufactures one of Beautiful Localhands’ best sellers, the sega dancer keyrings, which are unique.
